Philip
Dale Smith, from Bowling Green, KY, has
authored six children’s picture books. Two
won national awards. With his daughter, Lisa Kay
Hauser, he’s written three historical fiction
novels, including Kentucky-based Turn Back Time,
winner of the Benjamin Franklin Award
for Fiction. A full-time writer and speaker,
he conducts school programs for K-12 and presents
his Every Kid A Winner Program
to teens and adults. His books include six children's
picture books, two historical fiction novels and
one young adult novel. |

Lisa
Kay Hauser, an award-winning author, speaks
to children and adults in schools, churches and
community groups. In addition to her children’s
and adult historical fiction writing, she’s
a published and recorded songwriter and lead singer
of the gospel bluegrass band, Rock River Revival.
1-2-3, Special Like Me! and 1-2-3, And God Made
Me! grew out of a poem she wrote for her children’s
newspaper column in Brodhead, WI. Lisa’s books
include two children’s picture books, two
historical fiction novels and one young adult novel. |

Donna
Brooks, award-winning Kentucky artist best
known for her “Heaven’s Little Sweethearts”
collectors’ plates by the Bradford Exchange,
was nominated their “New Artist of the Year.”
Her popular prints are available through Home Interiors®
and in outlets nation-wide. She paints baptismal
scenes for churches and also murals. Donna is resident
artist at FOHS Hall in Marion, KY, and is a visiting
artist at schools throughout the area. Her home
is in Providence, KY. She has illustrated five books
for Dale Smith. For each she created 28-30 oil-on-canvas
paintings. |
